JOB RESPONSIBLEs
Develop, execute and manage corporate banking strategy and tactical business plan, taking into account the market opportunity/growth potential, competitor activities, and FTB’s existing capabilities and credit operating parameters.
Lead Corporate Banking Department to reach the Bank’s strategic objectives for long-term sustainable growth.
Originate, maintain and develop new client relationships in the corporate space leveraging the Bank’s existing and newly-developed capabilities.
Proactively manage and grow existing corporate loan portfolio within the Bank’s credit operating parameters.
Define and set annual sales projection and loan target for the Corporate Banking segment through developing and implementing effective client retention and new client acquisition strategy, consistent with the Bank’s credit operating parameters.
Enhance key differentiation and value proposition of the Bank to ensure customers excellence banking experience.
Manage, motivate, train, and appraise corporate banking team by working closely with related teams to ensure that Corporate Banking Team are well-trained and having appropriate experience in lending, sales, and customer relationship management.
Participate in developing lending policy, operating manual, and procedures/guidelines, to ensure that the lending activities are in accordance with the approved policy and complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure that cross-selling activities, such as collecting deposit, transfer, and other banking product, is widely implemented during loan process.
Build and maintain good working relationship with customers, relevant authorities and related industry stakeholders.
Review and support/recommend all Corporate Banking credit applications from Corporate Banking Team prior to submission to credit risk approval chain for decision.
Collaborate with Risk Department to monitor the quality of loan process, both pre-disbursement and post-disbursement, to identify any adverse trends and to ensure that remedial action is timely taken.
JOB REQUIREMENTs
Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Management, Finance and Banking, or related field.
At least 5-year experience in leadership role, relationship management, and corporate lending.
A strong desire to work in a team and deal with challenges.
Excellent negotiation and internal & external relationship building skills.
Strong customer service and result-oriented personality.
Proven record in leading a successful and high performing and in managing high credit portfolioGood organizational skill, time management, and team building.
High initiative, commitment, good communication and problem solving skills.
Result-oriented with strong display of perseverance.
Computer literacy and English language proficiency.
